Stairs and the front door
Quoc Nguyen asks:
Question
The condominium i am about to purchase, has the front door open immediately to the stair leading to second floor. Is it ok or that considers a blockage of chi’s flow.
Answer
If you were to take a board that’s six or seven meters long and lay one end against the front door and lay the bamboo at a 90-degree angle from the front door into the house, does the other end of the board have to be propped on the stairs?
If you say “yes,” then the issue is not a blockage of qi — it is the classic setup whereby all the sheng qi runs out the front door. And takes your money with it.
The simplest solution is to avoid using this door except in emergencies and the rare guest. Of course, if your feng shui consultant says the water star 8 is at the door, then they must work out a compromise for you.
