No back door = "blocked/stuck energy"?

FiTrench@hotmail.com asks:

Question

I understand that living in a place that has no back door results in energy being blocked, and that is certainly true of my life: a feeling of being stuck. But nowhere have I found a solution to this problem. My property doesn’t have a back door and cannot have. I would be SO grateful if someone could advise me of what the answer is? Thanks

Answer

Chinese yao dong (cave houses) and pit dwellings are generally considered to have very good feng shui. Yet they do not have back doors. Neither do the traditional homes of the Hakka.

And you are unlikely to find a back door in most siheyuan (courtyard dwellings).

McFengshui promotes the odd belief that energy can get “blocked” or “stuck.” This helps to sell gizmos that supposedly “unblock” or “unstick.” I am not surprised some McFengshui devotees believe that the absence of a back door means “blocked energy,” but the Chinese are not aware of this.

Energy can move slowly or quickly, or be dissipated — but it doesn’t get “blocked.” Have you ever seen the wind get “stuck” or “blocked”?

You have to find another reason for feeling stuck.
